Hell in a Cell 2017 predictions for WWE's debut at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit
/We'll be at at tonight, so here's a preview of what to look for:
Don't forget that WWE SmackDown Live comes to Grand Rapids and Van Andel Arena on Tuesday night!
Falls Count Anywhere Hell in a Cell Match
Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens
With the added stipulation, it's safe to say that something crazy is going to happen in this one. Kevin Owens doesn't get enough credit for the big bumps he's taken throughout his WWE career. Shane's reputation as a daredevil is entirely deserved. If nothing, this will be fun.
Vince shows up and helps Shane win to cap off the night in special fashion. Also, someone takes an insane bump.
WWE Championship Match
Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
A Nakamura title win to break in a new arena (especially considering 's past at Joe Louis Arena) would be nice, but it just doesn't feel like it's happening. Mahal wins, retains (probably) until Survivor Series.
Mahal wins like he always wins. Singh brother interference and then his finisher.
SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Natalya (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
This should be a hard-hitting, old-school style of match with Charlotte's athleticism taking it to the next level. If these two get some time and Charlotte wins, this could surprise a lot of people sleeping on Natalya.
Charlotte wins the title for the first time on SmackDown.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Hell in a Cell Match
The New Day (c) vs. The Usos
These two have insane chemistry and should tear the house down in Detroit. I truly don't know who to expect to win, heck let The New Day win and carry this thing through Survivor Series.
The New Day win, but The Usos bring it and we get another month of these matches.
United States Championship Match
AJ Styles (c) vs. Baron Corbin
I'm so pissed off that Tye Dillenger isn't in this match, or on the card. WWE is really wasting him so far while investing way too much time in new theme music Corbin.
Baron probably wins this, Tye Dillenger's soul and the rights to AJ's next child.
Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler
If this gets 15 minutes, a lot more people will hop on the Glorious Hype Train. He feels like a can't miss star, so far.
Roode wins in an exciting match backs up some strong booking.
Randy Orton vs. Rusev
*prays for attack during entrance so there is no match*
I'm actually going to use that as my prediction^
WWE Hell in a Cell Kickoff Match
Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hype Bros
Not bad for a kickoff show, Gable will sneak up on people and it'll be fun to watch how Shelton readjusts to WWE and the tag team division.
Gable and Benjamin need this more, and a loss doesn't hurt Hype Schmos.
